The QuickShare plugin allows users to securely share Obsidian notes over the internet with end-to-end encryption, ensuring privacy and security. Notes are encrypted using AES-256-CBC, with decryption keys never sent to the server, making it impossible for the server to access the content. By default, the plugin integrates with the Noteshare.space service, which stores encrypted notes for up to 31 days. Users also have the option to host their own instance of the storage service for complete control over their data. QuickShare does not require accounts or external API keys, making it a simple and effective solution for sharing notes effortlessly while maintaining security.
